Ellis Construction Co., Inc. is a small company specializing in individual attention and quality craftsmanship. Although we do not offer a model home program, many of our clients have graciously extended their hospitality by allowing us to show their homes which will give you some insight as to the attention to detail we give to each and every home we build. Having built homes through out Hilton Head Island and Bluffton, evidence of our work can be found in most of the major plantations.

By developing strong professional relationships with every facet of the building industry in our area we know and use only the most qualified, reputable and highly skilled subcontractors in our area.

Marc Ellis, President - Marc and his family have lived on Hilton Head Island since 1977. As an active member of the Hilton Head Island Home Builders Association, Marc has served as president, in addition to serving as President for the South Carolina Home Builders Association. Marc is personally available and responsible to you at all times, before, during and after your custom home is completed.

Builder Profile

Marc Ellis, President has been building custom homes on and around Hilton Head Island since 1977. Marc obtained his BA at the University of Arizona in addition to completing a 4-year apprenticeship program with the Carpenter's Union. Having performed on many levels within the Hilton Head Area HBA Marc has served as President and has been honored twice as their Homebuilder of the Year. Marc recently received the highest honor possible for a homebuilder in the state of South Carolina by being inducted into the SC Housing Hall of Fame. Marc is continuously striving to support and improve the housing industry within our state while keeping abreast of legislative issues affecting the home building industry and ultimately, the homeowner.
